Is QIntern free to use?

QIntern is free to browse and use for your resume workflow. To apply, you need application credits unless your college partner plan covers you. A one-time 5,000 ₸ payment adds 10 application credits and 30 days of Pro tools, and referrals can also earn credits.

How do I create an account?

Click "Sign Up" and choose your role: student (looking for internships) or company (hiring interns). You can register with your email and password, or continue with Google. After signing up you'll go through a short onboarding to complete your profile.

What happens during onboarding?

For students: you'll fill in your name, contact details, academic information (university, field of study, graduation year), and preferred industries/location types. For companies: you'll add your company name, industry, website, description, and a contact person. This takes about 2 minutes.

Can I use QIntern in Kazakh or Russian?

Yes. QIntern supports three languages: English, Russian (Русский), and Kazakh (Қазақша). You can switch the language at any time from the language selector in the header or sidebar.

How do I apply for an internship?

Browse companies from your dashboard, open an internship position you're interested in, and click "Apply". A draft application is created where you select your resume, write a cover letter (if required), and sign a consent form. Once everything is complete, submit your application.

Can I save my application as a draft?

Yes. When you start an application it's saved as a draft. You can come back and complete it later. Only drafts can be edited — once submitted, the application is locked.

How does the resume builder work?

You can create multiple resumes on QIntern. The built-in builder supports sections for Summary, Education, Experience, Skills, Projects, Certifications, Languages, and custom sections. You can reorder sections, customize the font, accent color, and font size, and export to PDF. You can also upload your own resume file instead.

What is the AI Match Score?

After you submit an application, our AI analyzes your profile, resume, and cover letter against the internship requirements and generates a match score from 0 to 100. This helps companies quickly identify strong candidates. The score considers skill alignment, education, experience, and location fit.

Can I withdraw my application?

Yes. You can withdraw an application that has been submitted or is under review. Go to your Applications page, open the application, and choose "Withdraw". Withdrawn applications cannot be re-submitted.

How will I know if my application status changes?

You'll receive an in-app notification (the bell icon in the header) whenever your application moves to a new stage — under review, screening, accepted, or rejected. You'll also receive an email notification if you have email notifications enabled.

How does messaging work?

Companies can send you messages through the platform, typically related to your applications. You'll find all conversations in your Inbox. You'll be notified when you receive a new message.

How do I register my company?

Sign up and select "I'm hiring interns". During onboarding you'll enter your company details including name, industry, website, description, and size. You can then create internship positions and start receiving applications.

How do I create an internship position?

Go to your Company Page, switch to the Positions tab, and click "Add Position". Fill in the title, description, requirements, qualifications, duration, dates, salary range, location type, city, application deadline, and number of spots. You can save it as a draft or publish it as open.

How do I review applications?

Applications appear on your Applications page. You can filter by position and status, search by applicant name, and sort by AI score or date. You can also use Quick Review (a swipe-style interface) for faster reviewing. Select applications to move them to screening, accept, or reject in bulk.

What is the screening process?

After shortlisting candidates, they appear on your Screening board — a kanban-style view with stages: Screening, Interview Scheduled, Interview Done, and Decision Pending. Drag cards between stages, message applicants, and make final accept/reject decisions.

How does the AI scoring work for my positions?

When a student submits an application, our AI automatically scores the match from 0 to 100 based on the candidate's profile, resume, and cover letter compared to your position requirements. The score appears on the application card and can be used to sort and prioritize candidates.

Yes. You can send messages to any applicant from the screening board or their application detail page. All conversations appear in your Inbox.

How do I change my email or password?

Go to Settings in your dashboard. You'll find options to change your email address and update your password. For email changes, you may need to verify the new address.

Is my data secure?

Yes. QIntern uses Supabase for authentication and data storage with row-level security. Your password is never stored in plain text. All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted.

QIntern is a web application optimized for both desktop and mobile browsers. There is no separate mobile app at this time, but the website works well on phones and tablets.
